Positioning of Markers
Markers on the map have been placed as accurately as possible either by use of GPS device during on street research or by identifying landmarks via the satellite view on the maps. Where landmarks are referenced in schedules or printed maps but we could not find them on the ground we have not included them on this site. In general we have erred on the side of caution and won’t add markers for things we have not seen.
In some areas the Google map layers are not correctly aligned (road lines do not sit over the roads precisely in the satellite view). This is a problem with the Google maps, which they will correct in time, but is beyond our control.
